Our house was built in 1896 for the "summer refreshment" of "city dwellers." Even back then, the good location by the lake and mountains was appreciated. For almost 130 years, we have been a family-owned property dedicated to the well-being of our guests, many of whom have been returning for decades. With great attention to detail, we have continuously renovated and updated the Marienhof to provide our guests with a wonderful stay.
The lake, with all its opportunities for swimming, surfing, sailing, fishing, and much more, is, of course, a focal point for our vacationers in the summer. Our private beach is just a 2-minute walk away. Surfboards and rowing boats are available. In winter, the Gerlitzen offers snow-sure winter fun for skiers and snowboarders, but it is also a paradise for hikers and especially for paragliders who rave about the good thermals in the summer. Cyclists, mountain bikers, climbers, and nature enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy with us. Those who have choices face dilemmas!
