The cottage
Our holiday home is 55 m² and is ideal for 2 adults. It consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a pull-out sofa, as well as a large wardrobe, radio and TV. The fully equipped kitchen-living room also has a sofa bed, an electric stove with oven and ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, a kitchenette with dishwasher, filter and coffee capsule machine, kettle, cookware with dishes and towels, satellite TV and CD player. A spacious shower, washing machine and separate toilet are also available in the holiday home. All rooms are heated by means of floor heating and radiant heaters via a district heating system. Various board games are available for a possible rainy day.
Special features
Our holiday home also has a bathing biotope with a large lawn where you can relax and feel good. Our swimming pond was built in 2000 and has a size of 377 m². It consists of two regeneration zones, a children's area and a swimming area. The swimming area is 2.90 m deep and is connected to a wooden walkway measuring 35 m² with an entry ladder. On this footbridge there is a 5 mx 7 m pergola on which the roof and the side panels can be adjusted electrically. A 20 m long, idyllic stream ensures a calming ripple of the water. The bathing pond has a technical system including two injector nozzles and a source stone. Our bathing biotope is operated completely without chemicals. The water regeneration is carried out exclusively by the plants, microorganisms and a rock filter. However, the swimming pond is not suitable for bathing dogs because the biotope has a sensitive ecosystem.
Holiday destination Arnoldstein - Dreiländereck - near Warmbad Villach
A bicycle rental can be found approx. 2 km away. Among the many marked cycle paths, the one in the lower Gail valley is particularly recommended. This begins with a train ride to Hermagor or Kötschach-Mauthen. You can also quickly reach the R3E "Radendorfer Radweg", the R3C "Tarviser Radweg" with connection to the "Ciclovia Alpe Adria" in Thörl-Maglern to Italy and Slovenia and the R3 "Karnischer Radweg". As our holiday resort is close to beautiful ski areas (Dreiländereck, Gerlitze), you can also visit us in winter. Ice skating or curling on the pond is also possible. We provide toboggans for our winter guests. A popular toboggan run with ascent to a wine tavern in our immediate vicinity is very special and fun leisure time fun. Our holiday house is located in a rural village with a pasture connection.
