Der Karnerhof ist ein Hotel mit Tradition. Ein Familienbetrieb, der tief verbunden ist mit dem Faaker See und dem Land Kärnten. Seine Geschichte: eine bewegte, erfolgreiche.
Im Hotel Karnerhof am Faaker See wird schon seit über 90 Jahren herzliche Kärntner Gastfreundschaft gelebt. Das einzigartig schöne Grundstück des Hotels, direkt am Nordufer des Faaker Sees – wo sich heute Urlauber aus aller Welt tummeln – beherbergte einst die Bauernschaft der Familie Karner. Im Jahr 1930 wurde mit einem Gasthof der Grundstein für das heutige Hotel gelegt. Trotz schwieriger Lagen und kritischer Situationen, wurde das Grundstück stets zusammengehalten, damit der Karnerhof in der heutigen Form überhaupt entstehen konnte.
Noch heute sind wir als Eigentümerfamilie Karner/Melcher Tag für Tag mit Leidenschaft und Sachverstand um unsere Gäste bemüht. Mit viel Herz und Anpack-Mentalität ist es uns im Laufe der Jahrzehnte gelungen, aus dem bescheidenen Gasthof eines der schönsten Hotels in Kärnten zu machen. Unsere Wurzeln reichen weit zurück.
