The thermal water that comes out of the ground in Maibachl at around 29 degrees is rich in calcium, magnesium and hydrogen carbonate. It is recommended for wear and damage to joints and muscles, circulation problems and against stress. However, even without complaints it is an ideal place to relax.
When heavy rainfall turns into snow, Maibachl sometimes flows again and the image of a winter white forest and steaming water is simply enchanting. In the autumn when the air temperatures are still pleasant, wet hair is also bearable. It is just so pleasant to drift looking up at the sky. The classic Maibachl moment is when the snow melts, a month of the year that has no doubt given this stream its name.
