Dobratsch - Geology Path

Near the restaurant Rosstratte at the foot of the summit hiking trail at approx. 1732m above sea level, a barrier-free geological trail has been set up. Feel and look at the various types of rock that occur in the Dobratsch Nature Park.

It is worth to visit the Rosstratten for a culinary stop.

Casual shoes with tread soles

From the parking lot 11 at the Rosstratte, follow the panorama path no. 291 on the asphalt road towards the west and walk along the 7 stations with geological and historical information. At the rest area just before the pasture gate, it is worth taking a break before returning to the starting point. It is not uncommon that you will be curiously observed by ponies, horses, donkeys and cows from their pasture areas.
