The short long-distance trail in southern Austria offers everything that a mountain circumnavigation promises in this sense. The five stages lead through times of former burial mounds, drainage tunnels and shelters, connect places of famous painting art and former monastic life, traverse bizarre landslide landscapes and guide along ancient Roman roads. At the junction of three cultures, the Dobratsch Runde also gains an unprecedented future-oriented character with its cross-border aspect.
