This route starts in Faak am See and heads south on main roads or the small paths on the side of the road to the train underpass next to the train station. Then you get onto a paved road at the foot of the so-called “Weinberg,” going southeast to the village of Latschach. In Latschach you ride on “Karawankenblickstrasse,” which is a steep road going upwards to a plateau where you join up with the B85 road. This branches off onto a side street that goes to Untergreuth. Follow this street upwards until you get to a pretty church. After a short climb you take a left onto a paved road, where you will find “Buschenschenke Ischnighof,” a tavern. There is a forest path directly behind the tavern, which goes slightly downhill into a trench. You will now have to cross a stream, which will be challenging. The path heads upwards again on the other side of the stream and takes you to a large forest road. Turn left and go down until getting to “Hotel Mittagskogel,” where you get back onto the B85 by crossing the B84. You will be on the “Eichenweg,” passing family homes until you reach a railroad crossing. After the crossing, you follow the edge of the forest until getting to a fork in the road. Take a left and go through the next intersection. Now you ride through the forest until getting back to the main road (Landesstrasse). Take a left, ride to “Niveabad” and take a right. When the street curves markedly to the left, follow the pedestrian/bike path over the small stream. A path on the other side of the stream will take you back to the Faak am See town center.

Be careful on the ride to Untergreuth. There are a few blind curves where you have to watch out for traffic!
