Faaker See - Ferlach bike bus tour - Drau cycle path

Cycle from the Faaker See downstream along the Drau cycle path to Ferlach in the Rosental valley and then take the bike bus back to the starting point.

From your doorstep you first cycle to the eastern shore of the Faaker See to the car park of the Natur Aktiv Park opposite Camping Anderwald. From here, follow the R1C Rosentalweg through the park until you reach Egger Straße, which you cross to continue cycling through the centre of Ledenitzen. Follow the signs along the Rosental main road to St. Jakob im Rosental and through the Längdorf village to the Drau river. Here you turn right and follow the course of the river or the Drau cycle path R1 via the villages of Feistritz im Rosental, Weizelsdorf and Strau to Unterferlach to Gasthof Plasch.

Tip: For a shorter version of the cycle tour, board the bike bus in Suetschach / Unterkrajach turn-off.
