The waterfall in Steindorf is impressive, especially after a rainy day .

Along the lake the path leads to the train station Steindorf and past the tree nursery Teuffenbach eastbound on the trail nr. " 2". Along trail nr. " 41", you will pass the junction to Steindorfer waterfall but you have to follow the mountain road towards Golk . On path nr. " 3" continue towards the Buschenschenke Kathrin .Follow the forest road and then the mountain road back towards the lake . At the water tank , turn onto the trail nr." 2" towards west and follow the way back through the village Stiegl and continue on Seeblickweg , Sonnenweg and Dorfstraße back to the starting point .

Steindorf is easily accessible by train (Line S2 ÖBB). There is also a boat line between the south shore and Steindorf.
