The entry point for this winter hike can be accessed at several spots. Officially, the path leads from the Mountain Resort Feuerberg, over the Schönfeld settlement to the Pöllinger Hut and from there on to the Kammer Hut (both managed)....

Take the B84 Ossiacher See road from Villach to Bodensdorf, turn left shortly after the Billa branch and continue on the toll Gerlitzen road to Bergeralm.
