In Weißenstein you can hike to your hearts content in the most stunning natural scenery, and the Jakobsweg leads you through the parish of Weißenstein. There is also an opportunity to play a tennis match on one of the ten tennis courts.
After this much sport everyone deserves refreshment. The leisure centre of Kellerberg, the only refreshment opportunity located directly on the Drauradweg between Villach and Spittal/Drau, will spoil you with culinary delights. There you can also enjoy the breath-taking flora and fauna around the Drau from either the bird observation pier, or from the natural and family friendly outdoor swimming pool Naturschwimmbad Puch. A nostalgic crossing on the ferry Draufähre Lansach-Feffernitz is the perfect opportunity for some peace and quiet.
The parish of Weißenstein offers cultural attractions such as shows performed by the two local theatre groups, song evenings, concerts, a sculpture street (together with the parish of Treffen) as well as several churches. Without a doubt the architectural highlights are the walk and bike trail bridge Puch – Töplitsch, a suspension bridge across the Drau, which was inaugurated in 2015.
