Damtschach in the municipality of Wernberg is a quiet place in the municipality of Wernberg, located at the foot of the Aichelburg, the Sternberg, and the Schwarze Schloss (the ruins of Hohenstein). Damtschach is known for the eponymous Baroque palace in the town center, which is privately owned by the Orsini-Rosenberg family. The Chalet Damtschach is about a 5-minute walk from there. On the way between the palace and the chalet, you can enjoy hearty home-cooked meals or pizza at the Damtschach village tavern.
