Our Almhaus is situated in a sunny and quiet panoramic position at 1,050 m above sea level on the Verditz near Afritz in the Carinthian Nockberge. The south-facing position of our house offers an unobstructed view of the Gegend and Drau valleys as well as the Karawanken with the striking Mittagskogel. We offer a lot of privacy, as we only rent out one flat with its own entrance. Free, personal parking space in front of the house.

We are accessible all year round via a public road, from Afritz 4 km.

No matter what the season, healthy air, peace and relaxation await you here ... hiking over gentle alpine pastures, admiring views and untouched landscapes, far away from crowded hiking trails, indulging in the healing effects of nature ...

Hardly anyone can escape the fascination that emanates from the unique beauty and naturalness of the landscape and the mild, southern climate.

In spring, summer and autumn you can start hiking and mountain biking tours towards Schwarzsee, Palnock, Rindernock and Mirnock with a tremendous 360° panoramic view directly from the front door. To cool down and relax, the heated pool in the garden or the nearby Afritzersee lake awaits you for swimming or fishing.

The surrounding Nockberge mountains and the Carinthian lake area offer a variety of other holiday experiences as well as sports, art and culture.

In winter, an untouched snowy landscape on Verditz beckons you to go snowshoeing, ski touring or simply to sunbathe and enjoy.

Wonderful skiing areas are within easy reach, e.g.:

20 km Bad Kleinkirchheim, non-skiers can visit the famous thermal spas, 14 km Gerlitzen-Klösterle, 35 km Falkert, 40 km Turracher Höhe, 40 km Dreiländereck, ........


HOLIDAY APARTMENT: Size 40m², suitable for 1 - 2 persons

We offer a comfortable holiday flat with its own entrance in the basement/garden of our Almhaus. Free private parking at the house, use of pool and garden.

Anteroom: wardrobe and plenty of storage space

Bedroom: two beds, can be used as single beds or double bed, parquet flooring

Living room: kitchen, dining area, (sofa bed), SAT-TV, floor lamp

Bathroom/WC: bathtub with shower wall, window, toilet paper, hair dryer,

garden with pool, sunbeds, parasol and garden furniture, sunbathing lawn with distant view

Dishes, glasses, cutlery and linen (bed linen, blankets, towels, tea towels), refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine with filter paper, Senseo coffee maker, kettle, toaster, electric grill, egg cooker, 2-plate cooker, cooking utensils, iron, clothes horse,

initial supply of kitchen roll, washing-up liquid, salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar and oil

Use of washing machine possible

Smoking is prohibited in the flat, no pets, not barrier-free.

There are no facilities for children

Final cleaning: basically included in the flat price, exceptional dirt or damage will be charged.
