The Carinthian Summer kicks off the 2025 festival season on 5 July under the motto ‘Moved’, with the ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, the festival orchestra of the Carinthian Summer, performing three major concerts in Villach this year. The festival will end next season with a special concert on 23 August, in which the chief conductor of the RSO, American star conductor Marin Alsop, will bid farewell to Austria with her last concert.
