Immerse yourself in the musical world of the Carinthian Summer and enjoy the unique atmosphere in the most diverse venues. Since 1969, the Carinthian Summer has been attracting artists and music enthusiasts from all over the world to Carinthia every year in July and August and offers a varied programme that is second to none.
On 8th July, the Carinthian Summer will kick off the 2023 festival season with Carinthian Water Music in a new setting, followed by this year's motto Laughing. which will focus on the emotional world behind this human form of expression. The festival programme this year is also characterised by music from the genres, classical jazz crossover. From 2nd July to 29th August, a brilliant pre-opening in a unique ambience, a leading international orchestra, a multi-award-winning jazz formation, unusual chamber music, outstanding soloists, classical stars and promising young artists, contemporary music and world premieres can be heard and experienced.
