This trail leads from the Lärchenboden parking area to the Schwarzseehütte and then takes you to the Amberger Alp, to the the Palnock, Lahnernock and Rindernock and finally to the Mirnock.

If you are really motivated then you could prolong your tour to the mountain Türdl (2023 metres above sea level). From there you can go onwards to the Hochalmhütte (open from June until end of September). Pick up point is then the Kohlweißhütte. This extension will add another two hours to your walking time. Of course you could also start your tour here and then spend more time at the lovely Schawarzseehütte.

From the starting point Verditz - Lärchenboden you walk along the trail no. 27 and no. 180 to the Schwarzseehütte (hut at 1750 m). After a short break for drinks and snacks, it is only a few minutes' walk to the Schwarzsee (a big pond at 1792 m) with a huge landscape picture frame. Follow the trail (path no. 29 and 180) in north-west direction, Enjoy the beauty of the landscape and cool your feet in one of the many ponds on the way to the Friesneralpe. Via the Friesneralpe you reach the Palnock (1901 m). If you you are exhausted or the weather is about to change, then please turn around at this point.

The further path leads downwards to approx. 1728 m, followed by a ascent to Lahnernock (1861 m) and Rindernock (2024 m). From the cattle shed there are still about 100 meters of altitude to the summit of the Mirnock (2110 m) with the countless Steinmandln (stone pillars), stone walls and resting places.The summit of the Mirnock lies at the intersection of two geomantic lines - the monastery line and the cult line. The monastery line is located exactly between the Grossglockner and the Hochobir, the cult line lies between the Monte Lussari (Italy) and the castle Rosenau near Zwettel.

A wonderful place to pause, rest and gather, while enjoying the impressive landscape. A very special view is probably the glacier area of ​​the "Tauernkönigin (3360 m) or Hochalmspitze to the north. The recommended and direct descent to the Kohlweißhütte and the Wieserhütte on approx. 1600 m leads over way no. 184 (for approx. 1 hour). At about 2030 m, a path branches off south-east directly to the Kohlweißhütte, which is the pick up point (please reserve the day before your hike).

This tour takes quite long and you will need good weather and a decent level of fitness. Orientation is quite easy because you always have the Mirnock in sight.
