A quiet but demanding circular route with an ascent of the Ferlacher Spitze including a stop at the Bertahütte.
The route is certainly a quieter way to safely approach the summit of Ferlacher Spitze, at least in the first section up to the Bertahütte. However, the physical and technical demands should not be underestimated.

Alternatively, coming from Villach or the Rosental, drive on the B85 (Rosentalstraße) to Unteraichwald and turn off at Hotel Mittagskogel into Kopeiner Straße. At the Kopein junction, turn left towards Gasthof Sticker.
