Villach Climbing Centre

Carinthia’s largest climbing centre with 2.000 m2

Villach Climbing Centre offers great opportunities for climbing and dining. With a climbing area of 2,000 m2 and 9,500 holds, it is the largest climbing centre in the Alpe-Adria region. What makes this climbing centre unique, is the outdoor climbing wall with an integrated LED light system, which forms a 16 m tall ‘V’ for Villach. The wall offers an outdoor climbing surface of 320 m2 with a 3.5 m overhang.

The indoor climbing walls offer varied routes for enthusiastic climbers, including opportunities for bouldering, top rope and lead climbing. After a successful day of climbing, full of action, you can restore your calorie count in the onsite restaurant. The menu includes cakes, pasta dishes, burgers and a daily lunch special – something for everyone.

You are not yet a climbing expert, but would like to have a go? No problem, we offer climbing courses for beginners with expert coaching in the indoor centre. You don’t have climbing equipment? Not a problem either. The only thing you will need is comfortable sporty clothing and a desire to try something new. We can provide the equipment including climbing shoes and a climbing belt.
