Afritz am See

Arriach

Arriach, 20 kilometres north of Villach, is the geographic centre of Carinthia. An idyllic walk leads from the village to the red platform, which signifies the centre of Carinthia. Here a forest clearing opens up a window to an incredible view of the Carinthian mountain world. A holiday in Arriach is a holiday right at the heartbeat of nature. Here there is no room for stress or hectic life.

Bodensdorf

Bodensdorf is the perfect starting point for hiking, cycling or walking around Lake Ossiach. If you like it cosy and tasteful, the small village offers nice cafés and restaurants as well as nightlife. Those interested in culture can visit the Wehrkirche in Tiffen or the famous stone house of DI Günther Domenig.

Ossiach

Peace and relaxation on the one hand, bustle and action on the other. Steindorf

But not to fear. The "stone house" of the deceased star architect Günther Domenig is only called this endearingly. After around twenty years of building time, the opus magnum of the famous architect is a landmark and sight that fascinates tourists and architecture enthusiasts alike.

Treffen

In Treffen at Ossiacher See this is easy. After all, the little market community lies at the transition from the Gegendtal to the Villach basin. In the north-east, the municipal area reaches as far as Gerlitzen, in the south-west to Krastal, Hochpirkach and Oswaldiberg. What that means for you concretely? The recreational mountain Gerlitzen Alpe and Verditz are within easy reach.
