Slow Trail Afritzer See

The Carinthian Slow Trails are prime examples for "slow motion" instead of "high speed" and offer relaxed hiking paths within beautiful landscapes. They are easy to walk, well-maintained and lead to special places where you can experience the beautiful Carinthian lakes.

Early in the morning, this circular path offers a very special calm atmosphere. At the northern end you have free access for a refreshing swim in the lake. We trust your environmental awareness and ask you not to dispose your waste along the way out of respect for nature.

Trekking shoes, functional wear, binoculars, camera, food and drinks.

Starting from the parking lot of at the public beach Afritzer See, follow the signs across the Seepark and turn into the Seestraße. Follow the Seestraße in a northerly direction to the junction with the Lierzbergerstraße. Follow this road slightly uphill until the first junction with a forest road with a barrier. Now it goes without changing direction and with a beautiful view to the north bank. There you branch off to the right and cross over a wooden walkway to the eastern bank. From here it goes south again along the bank to the bus stop Lierzberg. From there follow the way beack to the starting point of the circular route via a small wooden bridge over the outflow of the lake.
