Waymarked hiking paths, jogging trails, riding schools and tennis courts await you. The well-known Drau cycle path is particularly popular, leading through the municipal area.

Paternion

The idyllic community Paternion is located between the mountain and the valley, between water and the alpine pastures, between Spittal and Villach. Here in the Lower Drautal you can relax through hiking, cycling, horseback riding or just enjoying. The well-known Drauradweg leads directly through the municipal area of Paternion. Here is just the right place to visit one of the restaurants and stay overnight.

Weißenstein

Weißenstein tempts you with nature and relaxation and also scores great points with regards to sport and leisure activities. The Drauradweg (bike trail) is perfect for running, jogging, roller-skating, Nordic walking and leisurely strolls. In addition the marathon trail Weißenstein – Wernberg is located here.The river Drau is also an attraction for numerous fishermen.
