The difficulty level is easy. Only in one place is certain skill required. After a short walk from the starting point at the panoramic restaurant Baumgartnerhof, you reach the climbing trail right by the Rotschitza waterfall. In total, the via ferrata has a length of 350 metres with an altitude difference of around 290 metres.
The start is on the left side of the stream at the foot of the Rotschitza waterfall. While moving up the wall meter for meter, one can look forward to the first sensational view. A suspended bridge leads at a height of about six metres over the stream and from up here one has an open view of the turquoise Faaker See. It continues to the second suspended bridge. You cross the stream again and climb to the first fortification. Then you follow the stream and leave the stream at a second fortification. To round off, you can enjoy a well-deserved climber's snack at Baumgartnerhof.
