At 181 square meters (19.5 meters long and 9.3 meters wide), the relief of Carinthia is the largest landscape model of its kind in Europe. This historical masterpiece is brought to life with interactive image, sound and light effects and offers you an exciting 3D experience.

From the highest church tower in Carinthia - the parish tower measures 94 meters - you can enjoy a fabulous view over the charming town. The building was already so famous in the middle-ages that in 1486 an Italian chronicler wrote about the tower that it was more magnificent than any of the towers in Venice at the time.

Discover the Villach City Museum, which is housed in an old town house, the Palais Crusiz, in the heart of the city center. Founded in 1873, the museum invites you to immerse yourself in the fascinating history, art and culture of the city and region of Villach from the beginning of May to the beginning of November. Every year, an exciting new theme awaits you, which comes to life in a unique special exhibition.

Newly opened in 2021, the "Volume" offers a more than 1,000 m², top-modern indoor bouldering area with routes of all levels difficulty. Both beginners and advanced climbers will find the ideal training conditions here - and not just in rainy weather.

The dreamy village of Wernberg is nestled in the Ossiacher Tauern mountains and impresses with its proximity to lake Ossiacher See, lake Wörthersee and lake Faaker See . Active visitors can explore the region on well-marked hiking and cycling trails, such as the Drau cycle path.
