From the 94-meter tower of the main parish church of Villach, the Stadtpfarrkirche, you will enjoy a fabulous view over the whole city. Already in the Middle Ages the tower was so famous that in the year 1486 an Italian chronicler described it as even greater than any tower in Venice.
During the centuries, the tower of the parish church of Villach was rebuilt several times and its current appearance stems from the year 1847. At the top there is a viewing platform from which the visitor has a panoramic view into the distance. Exact opening times and further information regarding prices are on the website of the City of Villach. With the KärntenCARD climbing the tower is free.
