Arnoldstein climbing region

Right within the municipal area of Arnoldstein, situated just behind the local kindergarten, is the Arnoldstein climbing area that is very popular also among beginners due to its many light and short routes.
Friends of friction climbing and via ferrata will be delighted: many routes run along vertical or slightly inclined walls.

Especially at the higher difficulty levels, these can be considered challenging. The rocky face in the Arnoldstein climbing area consists of compact and smooth limestone and has some holes and ledges.
Note: owing to the proximity to the kindergarten, climbing is not allowed during school opening hours between 12.00 and 14.00
