Unique meeting point of three countries, languages and cultures
Experience the Dreiländereck - three borders in the south of Austria, where Austria, Italy and Slovenia meet - the meeting point of three countries, languages and cultures. Enjoy a marvellous panoramic view of the Julian Alps and the Gailtal valley and discover the many hiking opportunities. In summer, the ‘GRENZgenial - GRENZgänger’ theme trail invites you to hike along exciting paths through the Alpine landscape, while in winter you can experience the tranquillity of the snow-covered landscape.
Please note that the mountain railway is currently closed due to insolvency. Nevertheless, the Dreiländereckhütte is open according to opening hours and offers you refreshments with regional specialities.

September and October: Wednesday to Sunday from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm (closed on Monday and Tuesday)
