The Dreiländereckhütte on the Seltschacher Alm is a rewarding destination for hikers. Just a few minutes from the mountain station, it offers regional delicacies and an impressive panoramic view of the mountains of Austria, Slovenia and Italy. In winter, the area around the former valley station of the Dreiländereck is transformed into a paradise for cross-country skiers. The 10 km long Seltschach cross-country ski trail at 750 metres above sea level starts and ends at the valley station and is suitable for both classic skiers and skaters. Beginners will also find ideal conditions here.
I still have an hourly ticket from Dreiländereck - will I get my money back?
Due to the insolvency of Bergbahnen Dreiländereck GmbH & Co KG in March 2024, lift operations have ceased. Under insolvency law, holders of unused hourly tickets could have registered their claims in the insolvency proceedings. However, the chances of success for a full refund would be slim and the insolvency proceedings have already been concluded

Are there alternative transport options to the summit?
There are currently no alternative mechanical means of transport to the summit. The ascent is on foot via the existing hiking trails. Alternatively, you can take the Villach Alpine Road to the Dobratsch.
