Gerlitzen Alpe mountain experience - Here Carinthia lies at your feet - Action or relaxation? On Gerlitzen Alpe you will find not only a hiking, paragliding and leisure paradise, but also the most beautiful panorama in the region.

The Peterlewand is an elongated east-facing rock face of hard bedrock, about 8 to 35 meters high. In addition, there are places with moderate to strong overhanging rock formation. Peterlewand offers picturesque views to Lake Ossiacher See. Some areas of the rock face are vertical or slightly inclined. The hand holds include a variety of different edges and several round slopers. Despite the often-challenging demands of some routes, there is sufficient opportunity for entry level climbers.

The Gerlitzen Alpe with the Kanzelbahn cable car, open all year round, is a perfect mountain for more than hiking and culinary enjoyment. If you would like to take off into the air, this is a perfect spot for paragliding whether as a beginner, more experienced or a complete novice.
