start live-chatClassic car collector Rudolf Pirker has managed the Villach Automotove Museum with passion and a great deal of enthusiasm since 1987. After 20 years, the collection was moved from its previous location in the heart of Villach to Villach-Zauchen and now provides car parking spaces for the numerous visitors directly at the museum.
Over 240 vehicles of all types are exhibited in the new large museum building. Seeing a BMW Isetta, a Lloyd 600, a Goggomobil, a Messerschmitt Kabinenroller (Messerschmitt Cabin Scooter) and one of the last Trabis from Zwickau takes you down memory lane or is instructive for younger visitors. In addition to the cars and motorcycles the Pirker family’s collection also has historic radios and clocks. Rudolf Pirker also repairs particularly rare and precious models. Of interest to the collectors among you – now and again a classic car or radio is offered on sale. With a KärntenCARD entry to the museum is free of charge.
