So much so that they formed a circle of painters, an impressionistic art centre, the "Nötscher Circle". The artists were none other than the internationally recognized painters Sebastian IseppAnton Mahringer, Franz Wiegele and Anton Colig. Even today, the Wiegele bakery and mill (the oldest active mill in southern Carinthia) the art creation of these painters and their sphere of influence.
