Ski centre Gerlitzen Alpe

Powder and piste fun are back in season. A glance up reveals: Mother Hulda is doing her job really well, having cloaked the whole mountain massif in a wintery new snowy dress. Gerlitzen Alpe is considered THE top family ski resort in Carinthia and is the only certified ski centre for families with children, as well as beginners.

Ski area Drei.Länder.Eck

At the Dreiländereck where Austria, Italy and Slovenia meet, 15 kilometres of varied pistes, a 3-seater chairlift and 6 T-bar and platter lifts await guests – including a boundless panorama. For beginners and children, there is a practice lift in the valley area as well as the "Happy Ski School".

Dreiländereck: Free ski pass for children up to the age of 16

Children up to their 16th birthday who stay overnightwith their parents in the Faaker See adventure area (market town of Finkenstein, north side of the Faaker See and municipality of Arnoldstein) ski for free in the Dreiländereck ski area.

Dobratsch nature park

Whether on foot or comfortably by car via Villacher Alpenstraße. Once you arrive at the Rosstratte, the last car park before the summit, you are presented with a fantastic postcard mountain panorama.
