Conditions of Participation "Bikeweek fights ALS"

1. what can you win?
By taking part in the competition, you have the chance to win one of four holidays at Lake Faak.

2. how can you win?
You can enter the competition using the form on www.bikeweek.at/als.
The prize will be raffled off among all participants.

3. over what period does the promotion take place?
The promotion starts on Friday, 30.08.2024, 00:00 and ends on Sunday, 15 September at 23:59.

4. who can take part?
Any natural person who donates at least €10 to the ALS working group of the Medical University of Vienna during the ‘Bikeweek fights ALS’.
For underage participants, the Villach region requires the consent of a parent or guardian. Participation requires the truthful provision of data relevant to participation. Competition clubs and automated competition services are not eligible to participate. Multiple registrations do not increase the chance of winning.

5. Who is excluded from participation?
The Villach Region is entitled to exclude individual persons from participation if there are justified reasons, such as violation of these conditions of participation, double or multiple participation, manipulation, etc., and reserves the right to take legal action. Legal recourse is excluded.

6. How will the winner be determined?
The winners will be selected from all participants by the Villach region in an independent random draw.

7. how will I know if I have won?
The winner will be notified by e-mail to the address given in the form.

8. how do I receive my prize?
With the prize notification, the winner will be asked to provide the Villach Region with the contact details for the digital or postal dispatch of the prize. The participant is responsible for the accuracy of the contact details provided.

9. what happens if I don't get in touch after being notified of my win?
If the winner does not contact the Villach Region within 7 days of being notified of the prize, the prize will be forfeited. In this case, a new winner will be drawn from the group of eligible participants. The same applies in the event that the winner provides the Villach Region with incorrect contact details and it is therefore not possible to send or hand over the prize.

10. reservation clause
The Villach Region reserves the right to modify, interrupt or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons. However, the Villach Region will only make use of this option if, for reasons of force majeure, for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in the hardware and/or software) or for legal reasons, the proper organisation of the competition cannot be guaranteed. The Villach Region is not liable for losses, cancellations or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. In justified cases, the prize may be replaced by a prize of equal value.

11. data protection regulations
Your safety and satisfaction take centre stage. The Villach Region stores and uses the data collected exclusively for the purpose of organising the competition.
‘The participant agrees that his/her name will be published on the website of the competition provider in the event of winning.’

12. Miscellaneous
Cash payment of prizes is not possible. Winning claims cannot be transferred or assigned to other persons. Legal recourse is excluded. Should individual provisions of the conditions of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining conditions of participation shall remain unaffected. They shall be replaced by an appropriate provision that comes closest to the purpose of the invalid provision. The Villach Region reserves the right to change the conditions of participation at any time.
