regarding the situation in Treffen and Arriach
A massive storm has caused floodings and severe damage around the centre of Treffen and has interrupted the roads to the village of Arriach. However, all other places in the Villach - Faaker See - Ossiacher See region are freely accessible and there are no restrictions for your holidays.
Closed roads
- Millstätter Straße (B 98) between km 33.0 and km 35.9 - You can find more information here (in german).
- Toll road Treffen - Gerlitzen Alpe
- Toll road Arriach - Gerlitzen Alpe
Alternatively, the Gerlitzen Alpe can be reached via the Bodensdorf toll road (there will be only a few parking spaces available) and by cable railway "Kanzelbahn". Please contact your accommodation for more detailed information.
